PCBA Testing

Electronic Manufacturing

The difference between PCB and PCBA lies in the presence of components. PCB, also known as a printed circuit board, is a blank board that lacks the necessary components for it to function. On the other hand, PCBA, also known as a printed circuit board assembly, is a complete board with all the necessary components already assembled on it.

Vinrox, a company specializing in PCB assembly, uses two primary technologies for its assembly process. The first is Surface Mount Technology (SMT), which involves attaching electronic components directly to the surface of a substrate. This technology allows for smaller components and higher component density on the board.

The second technology used by Vinrox is Through-Hole Technology (THT). In THT, perforations are drilled into the PCB, through which the leads of the electronic components are soldered. This technology is used for larger components, where their weight and size require more support to ensure a secure connection to the board.

In summary, PCBs are the foundation for electronic circuits, while PCBA is a fully functional board with all the necessary components assembled onto it. The two primary technologies used by Vinrox for PCB assembly are Surface Mount Technology and Through-Hole Technology, which provide efficient and reliable methods for assembling electronic components on a PCB.
